Maintenance and Cleaning
- Remove the battery before cleaning or performing maintenance on the dust extractor, making tool adjustments, changing accessories or placing the dust extractor in storage. This safety measure prevents the dust extractor from being started accidentally.
- To ensure safe and efficient operation, always keep the dust extractor and the ventilation slots clean.
Clean the housing of the dust extractor occasionally with a damp cloth.
Clean dirty charging pins using a dry cloth.
Clean the dust container (6) after each use in order to ensure that the vacuum cleaner continues to perform optimally.
- Hold the dust extractor over a suitable waste bin.
- Press the release button (7) to open the emptying flap (8).
- Shake out the dust container (6).
- Close the emptying flap (8) in such a way that you can hear it click into place.
- If necessary, empty the coarse dirt filter (1) and clean the rotational airflow unit (17) as well as the filter (16).
- Turn the coarse dirt filter (1) as far as it will go in the direction and remove it from the dust container (6).
- Shake out the coarse dirt filter and the dust container over a suitable waste bin.
- Place the coarse dirt filter (1) in the dust container (6) and turn it as far as it will go in the direction .
- Hold the dust extractor down slightly as shown so that dust cannot fall out of the dust container when the dust extractor is opened.
- Press the release button (2) and remove the dust container (6) from the motor housing (5) (see figure E1).
- Hold onto the filter grips (15) and pull the rotational airflow unit (17) with the filter (16) out of the dust container (6) (see figure E2).
- Shake out the dust container (6) and the rotational airflow unit (17) over a suitable waste bin (see figure E3).
- Put the rotational airflow unit (17) and filter back in the dust container (6).
- Push the locking tab (18) up and remove the filter (16) (see figures F1–F2).
- Gently tap the filter against a solid surface to loosen the dust. Replace any damaged filters.
- Insert the cleaned filter (16) into the rotational airflow unit (17).
- Attach the dust container (6) at the bottom in the motor housing (5). Apply slight pressure to the dust container to allow it to click into place in the motor housing.
Regularly empty the dust container (6) and coarse dirt filter (1) and regularly clean the rotational airflow unit (17) and filter (16) for optimum suction power.
If the suction power is insufficient, check:
- Is the dust container (6) full?
▷ Empty the dust container. - Is the coarse dirt filter (1) clogged with dust?
▷ Empty the coarse dirt filter. - Is the rotational airflow unit (17) or the filter (16) clogged with dust?
▷ Clean the rotational airflow unit and the filter. - Is the capacity of the rechargeable battery (4) insufficient?
▷ Charge the rechargeable battery.
