Selecting the Reference Level

For the measurement, you can select from various reference levels:

The rear edge of the measuring tool (e.g. when placing against walls)

The centre of the tripod thread (14) (e.g. for tripod measurements)

The front edge of the measuring tool (e.g. when measuring from a table edge)

  1. Press the  button to open the Basic settings menu.
  2. Select .
  3. Use the  button or  button to select the required reference level.
  4. To confirm the selection, press the  button.

Every time the measuring tool is switched on, the last selected reference level is preset.

Subsequent alteration of the reference level of measurements that have already been taken (e.g. upon display of measured values in the measured value list) is not possible.
