Fitting the vacuum hose (see figure D)

Pull the sealing plug (23) out of the hose adapter (3).

Attach the vacuum hose (30) to the hose adapter (3) and turn it clockwise as far as it will go.

Always seal the extraction connection with the sealing plug whenever you remove the vacuum hose. This prevents dust from escaping.

Note: The friction generated by the dust in the vacuum hose and accessory during extraction causes an electrostatic charge that the user may experience as static discharge (depending on environmental factors and their physiological state).
Bosch generally recommends using an anti-static vacuum hose (accessory) to vacuum up fine dust and dry materials.

Attaching the Vacuum Hose to the Dust Extractor (see figure E)

Wrap the fitted vacuum hose (30) into the compartment for the vacuum hose. Pull up both pull straps (17) and hook them into the fastening openings (18).
