Clamping the workpiece (see figure E)
To ensure maximum safety while working, the workpiece must always be firmly clamped.
Do not saw workpieces that are too small to clamp firmly.
The free end of long workpieces must have something placed underneath it or be supported.
- Place the workpiece against the angle guide (6).
- Slide the locking spindle (7) against the workpiece and clamp the workpiece in place using the spindle handle (9).
Releasing the workpiece
- Release the spindle handle (9).
- Open the quick release (8) and pull the locking spindle (7) away from the workpiece.
