Pressing Process (see figures G−I)

If fluid escapes from the connection to be pressed, ensure that it does not get on or enter the power tool.

At the start of the pressing process, press the on switch (2) in and keep it pressed until the worklight (7) flashes after 1.5 s and the forced pressing process is started.

Once the maximum pressing force has been reached, the motor will switch off automatically. The worklight will go out after approx. 10 s.

Check that the press jaw is fully closed. If the pressing procedure was unsuccessful, repeat the process with a new press fitting.

Note: Having a status indicator (4) lit green and a closed press jaw at the end of the pressing process does not guarantee leak-tight compression. Independently of this, use suitable test equipment to check the pipe system for leaks.

To remove the power tool, press on the rear ends of the press jaw (1) ➊ and pull the power tool away from the press fitting ➋ (see figure I).

Cancelling the pressing process in the event of faults:

Note: Do not switch on the power tool while the cylinder is being moved back at the end of a pressing process or while the emergency switch (6) is being pressed.
