Preparations for Pressing (see figure F)
- Keep your fingers and other parts of your body away from the press jaw when you are positioning it. There is a risk of crushing.
You can turn the tool holder (9) to align the installed press jaw (1) with the insertion position.
Press on the rear ends of the press jaw ➊ in order to open it. Position the press jaw at a right angle on the press fitting ➋.
- Ensure that there are no foreign objects between the press fitting and the press jaw. This may result in incorrect pressing operations.
To switch on the worklight (7), briefly tap the on switch (2). The worklight (7) can help to optimally position the press jaw on the press fitting.
