Inserting/Replacing the Press Jaw (see figures A−E)

Select the press jaw that matches the diameter and contour of the press fitting.

You can use this QR code to go to the overview of press fitting systems and press jaws that have been approved by Bosch for this power tool. All press jaws in the R-System can be used.

Ensure that the press jaw is clean and in perfect technical condition.

Turn the lock (8) of the tool holder forwards as shown in figure A ➊ and remove it from the tool holder (9) ➋. Push the press jaw (1) onto the tool holder as far as it will go ➌. Press the lock (8) back into the tool holder ➍ and turn it by 180° in order to lock the press jaw ➎.

After inserting the press jaw, check whether the lock is firmly locked in place. This will ensure that the press jaw does not inadvertently come loose during operation.

To remove the press jaw, follow the steps above in reverse order.
