Operation with a Lithium-Ion Battery (accessory) (see figure A)

Bosch sells radios without rechargeable batteries. You can tell whether a rechargeable battery is included with the radio by looking at the packaging.

Note: Lithium-ion rechargeable batteries are supplied partially charged according to international transport regulations. To ensure full rechargeable battery capacity, fully charge the rechargeable battery before using your tool for the first time.

Disengage the locking lever (18) of the battery compartment cover and open the battery compartment cover (17).

If you are using an 18 V rechargeable battery, push the charged battery into the battery holder (28) until it clicks into place. To remove the 18 V rechargeable battery, pull the battery unlocking handle (27) so that the battery is unlocked and pushed out. Do not use force to do this.

If you are using a 12 V rechargeable battery, push the charged battery into the battery holder (22) until it clicks into place. To remove the 12 V rechargeable battery, press the battery release buttons (26) and pull the battery out of the battery holder. Do not use force to do this.

Close the battery compartment cover (17) and lock it.
