Adjusting the Guide Length (see figure C)

To ensure that dust is extracted cleanly and the depth stop is set correctly, the guide (4) must be adjusted so that the tip of the drill bit is flush at the front with the dust cap (1)/(2).

Insert the required drill bit into the tool holder of the drill chuck.
Press the button (5) while adjusting the guide (4) to match the drill bit length.
Release the button (5) again.

Note: To store the dust extraction attachment, press the button (5) and pull the guide (4) all the way out. This relieves the strain on the guide's spring, which increases the service life of the spring.
