Sawing
- Slide the glide arm (27) all the way back and secure it in this position.
Make sure that the depth stop (29) is pressed all the way in and that the adjusting screw (28) fits through the recess without touching the depth stop when moving the glide arm. - Firmly clamp the workpiece as appropriate for its dimensions.
- Set the required mitre and/or bevel angle as necessary.
- Switch on the power tool.
- Slowly guide the glide arm (27) downwards using the handle (1).
- Saw through the workpiece applying uniform feed.
- Switch off the power tool and wait until the saw blade has come to a complete stop.
- Slowly guide the glide arm (27) upwards.
- Maintain a firm grip on the handle before switching the power tool on and during the entire sawing process. Ensure that the movement of the glide arm is controlled during sawing. The glide arm is very easy to move and a moment of inattention could result in serious injury.
- Unlock the glide arm (27).
Check if the complete glide mechanism is operative by sliding the glide arm (27) back and forth. - Firmly clamp the workpiece as appropriate for its dimensions.
- Set the required mitre and/or bevel angle as necessary.
- Pull the glide arm (27) away from the fence (6) by the handle (1) until the saw blade is in front of the workpiece.
- Switch on the power tool.
- Slowly guide the glide arm (27) downwards using the handle (1).
- Now push the glide arm (27) towards the fence (6) and saw through the workpiece with uniform feed.
- Switch off the power tool and wait until the saw blade has come to a complete stop.
- Slowly guide the glide arm (27) upwards.
The length stop (35) (accessory) can be used for easily sawing workpieces of the same length.
The length stop can be mounted on either side of the saw table extension (7).
- Loosen the locking screw (34) and move the length stop (35) over the clamping screw (61).
- Re-tighten the locking screw (34).
- Set the saw table extension (7) to the required length.
The depth stop needs to be adjusted if you wish to saw a groove or use a spacer.
- Swivel the depth stop (29) outwards.
- Use the handle (1) to swivel the glide arm (27) into the required position.
- Turn the adjusting screw (28) until the end of the screw touches the depth stop (29).
- Slowly guide the glide arm (27) upwards.
