The kit contains two tabless, high-endurance ProCORE18V+ 8.0Ah Professional batteries for up to 2,000W corded power and the ultra-fast charger GAL 18V-160 Professional. Conventional batteries come with multi-tab cells which use only two tabs as current paths. This is a bottleneck that adds to the resistance of the battery. Our ProCORE18V+ 8.0Ah Professional batteries make use of the revolutionary tabless cell technology. Tabless cells take care of this bottleneck as they come with countless parallel current paths. The result: less resistance, less heat, and longer runtime. The ProCORE18V+ 8.0Ah Professional provides you with up to 71%* longer runtime for high-power-demanding cordless applications compared to the existing ProCORE18V 8.0Ah. The GAL 18V-160 is our ultra-fast 18V battery charger. It comes with a standard mode and additional charging modes to boost your productivity and save time. Thanks to a charging current of 16 amperes, it will take you only 15 minutes to get your battery up to 50% capacity – that’s especially convenient if you need to finish a few jobs before the end of the day.
