Service Description

MeasureOn is a fully managed web-based service offering (Software-as-a-Service), provided by Robert Bosch Power Tools GmbH for small- and medium-sized businesses in the construction industry as well as professional users in the "DIY" sector. It provides an easy on-site documentation service via a mobile app with a cloud backend that enables users to synchronize data across devices and enhances traditional workflows.

With MeasureOn we offer the capabilities and functions to securely visualize, store and synchronize measurement data. This includes the mapping of individual measurements to ground plans / blueprints to create sketches of rooms. The mobile app can be used for sketching, transfer of measurements via Bluetooth® from Bosch laser range finders, editing measurements and documentation with pictures and notes.

Our cloud-based service offering consists of a Free subscription and a PRO Cloud & Export subscription. In addition, there is also the PRO Export subscription that does not require a cloud registration. To use our cloud offering a registration and log in via a Single Key ID (SKID) is necessary. The registration is free of charge. SKID can also be used for other Bosch offerings e.g. Pro360 that use SKID.

Within the FREE subscription users can synchronize 1 project with a maximum of 3 workspaces and have a cloud backup that is limited up to a total of 200MB free of charge. The PRO Cloud & Export subscription will be described in more detail under section “MeasureOn PRO Cloud & Export”.

In addition to the FREE and the PRO Cloud subscription there is also a PRO Export subscription. This subscription is described in more detail under section “MeasureOn PRO Export”. It does not require a SKID registration.

The registration and use of MeasureOn is free of charge. Additional fees may apply for the purchase of additional PRO services (Premium Services) via in-app purchases.

Internet Connection

Internet connection is required to download the mobile app as well as to use the full functionality of the service. Without an internet connection, it is not possible to synchronize data and view the data on the web application.

MeasureOn Mobile App can also be used in offline mode without being logged in, however the data will not be stored in the cloud and saved only locally on the mobile device (smartphone or tablet).

Mobile Devices

The mobile app is available on Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

Supported devices are Bluetooth®-enabled Android and iOS smartphones and tablets. Other operating systems are not supported.

To ensure full compatibility of the app, we recommend using the latest version of the iOS/Android operating system.

Web Access

MeasureOn can also be accessed via a web application using common web browsers (e.g. Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, ...) that are connected to the internet. For the usage a free registration with SKID is necessary.

Bosch Laser Range Finders

Using the transmission of measured values via Bluetooth® in MeasureOn is only possible in combination with a Bosch laser range finder.

In particular, all Bosch GLM and PLR laser range finders with a “C”- ending (e.g. GLM 100-25 C, GLM 50-27 CG) can be connected via Bluetooth® with MeasureOn.
